Home Town: Chelmsford, MA
Rebecca Wyant, a junior Television/Radio/Film and biology major, comes to CitrusTV from Chelmsford, MA. After having a passion for television and movies for years, Rebecca began her TV production experience by joining CitrusTV's Syracuse After Hours. Since joining the station, Rebecca has been heavily involved in all aspects of television production, from editing to writing and on screen work as well. She credits CitrusTV as being the sole guiding force for her future career path in television production. Last year, she was the named the recepient of the Entertainment Department's "Rookie of the Year" Award. Over the summer of 2007, Rebecca interned in the Promotions department of WHDH-TV in Boston, MA. In 2007, Rebecca accepted the position of General Manager, and she is extremely thrilled about leading the station in new and exciting directions. Outside of station activities, Rebecca works for the Newhouse Edit Suites and is a brother of the Alpha Chi Sigma chemistry fraternity.

Jaime left warm, sunny Miami for a much colder life in Syracuse hoping to find TV experience and some good friends. Luckily she found both at CitrusTV. Jaime joined the station her freshman year as a member of the News Department and the Commercial Productions Unit. In News, Jaime started as an editor and director and worked her way into other technical positions. As a sophomore she was elected to the Executive Staff as News Director, where she is working to make the department a place where members can get as close to a professional news experience as possible. When not working at CitrusTV, Jaime is pursuing a degree in Television/Radio/Film with minors in Spanish and Women’s Studies.

Home Town: Philadelphia, PA
Tari Wariebi is currently a sophomore majoring in Communication and Rhetorical Studies and Writing, with a minor in Photography. He has been apart of the CitrusTV family since the beginning of his first year. Starting off as a writer, camera operator, and actor on the sketch comedy show Syracuse Afterhours, midway through his first year the position of Associate Producer on the news entertainment show Syracuse Live presented itself. He eagerly applied and was named Associate Producer. Tari made an immediate impact on the show stepping in not only as Associate Producer but also as Technical Director. Tari started his sophomore year holding these positions, and was then named Entertainment Director. Now he currently works to preserve the creative, professional and energetic atmosphere that first drew him to CitrusTV. In addition, to his time at CitrusTV, Tari is a Resident Advisor, Medical Transporter for Syracuse University Ambulance, Event Producer for Orange Television Network, Program Director and Mentor for the non-profit organization, Peer-A-Cuse, and President elect of the African American Male Congress.

Home Town: New Rochelle, NY
David comes to CitrusTV from "New Ro" with a passion for sports and television production. After getting his start covering Huguenot Varsity Athletics for Cable 77, David knew he wanted to pursue a career in sports broadcasting. Syracuse University was the perfect choice, where he is pursuing a degree in Broadcast Journalism and Finance. David joined CitrusTV his freshman year and has not only been a helpful crew member on all the sports shows, but he has also been an analyst on 'Cuse Countdown, a member of the Sports on News team, and the soon to be Women's Lacrosse Reporter for On The Bench. This led to his election to the executive staff as Sports Director his sophomore year. David is also an active member at WAER and WJPZ where he hosts Talkin' Smack, a SU Athletics Sports Talk Show. When David is not at the station, he is cheering for all the great NY teams including the Knicks, Yankees, Rangers, Jets, and of course the Orange.

Wes Purvis is a dual Television/Radio/Film and Information Management and Technology major. As a freshman, Wes joined the sports department and immediately realized that CitrusTV was the place for him. His sophomore year, Wes joined the Exec Staff as Chief Engineer and then later accepted the position of Operations Manager where he is working to make sure all aspects of the station are functioning properly. Along with maintaining the station’s equipment, Wes has been a producer for Press Pass and On the Bench as well as the Technical Director for the sports and news shows. In the summers, Wes saves lives.

Home Town: West Orange, N.J
Jenni came from West Orange, N.J to Syracuse to study advertising,
entrepreneurship and psychology. Joining the station freshman year,
she has been working with the promotions department to further
advertise for the entire station. Thus far, she has helped create
different advertisement fliers for shows, helped gain sponsors for
events, and brainstormed new ideas for the department. After only a
year, she applied for the director position for spring 2008 and was
elected. As director, Jenni looks forward to promoting the station in
imaginative, inspiring and unique ways. She has bright ideas to expand
and improve the department and is excited to begin her career in
Citrus. In addition to her work at Citrus, Jenni is part of The
Newhouse Advertising Agency where she has joined a team to create an
entire ad campaign for the specific product. Jenni also is on the Club
Tennis and Ski team and does a lot of volunteer work with Habitat for
Humanity.

Home Town: Cleveland, OH
Bill is a junior Television-Radio-Film major with a minor in Music Industry. He currently serves as a member of the Student Association in the Academic Affairs Committee and a Peer Advisor for incoming freshman students. As Assistant Director to the Chair of Academic Affairs, Bill has worked to improve student facilities on South Campus and develop ideas for new campus scholarships. Working with the Commercial Production Unit, he has created commercials for student organizations and businesses in Syracuse. In addition to video production, he has produced and recorded original music as a singer/songwriter and guitarist for eleven years and shared his knowledge of music and video production as a Teaching Assistant in the College of Visual and Performing Arts. CPU also supports the Citrus TV program Open Access by collecting video work on campus and providing student creators with production assistants to bring their visions to life. He hopes these diverse skills will bring new forms of sponsorship to the Citrus TV network. All students are encouraged to join the CPU team and contribute projects to Open Access.

Tanya Elm is currently a junior public relations, international
relations, and history
major, also minoring in retail management. She came to Syracuse
University from Oakton,
VA and joined CitrusTV in the fall of 2006 as a member of the
Promotions Department,
helping to re-brand the station?s image. Tanya became a member of the
Executive Staff in
fall 2007 as the Alumni Relations Director and plans to bring the
alumni and current
students closer together to ensure that the station continues to live
up to its renowned
name. This past summer, Tanya interned at Stanton Communications, a
medium-sized public
relations firm in Washington, D.C., organizing events for clients such
as Sprint/Nextel
and Denny?s. Once she graduates, Tanya hopes to pursue a career in
fashion public
relations.

Sean is new to the Citrus TV team and started in the Fall of '07. He just graduated with a degree in Television, Radio, and Film from NewHouse and is now completing a master's degree in NewMedia. He wants to further the integration and multiple uses of video and film on the internet.
